Jordan L. Fischer to Present on the GDPR at SecureWorld Dallas

Jordan L. Fischer will be presenting an in-depth three part course featuring an administrative, legal and technical overview of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation at SecureWorld Dallas. The first course will include an overview of the historical background on data privacy in Europe, as well as an overview of the ongoing evolution of the GDPR. Further, Jordan will address the first steps that organizations should take to achieve GDPR compliance.

The second course will then move on to discuss how to architect a network infrastructure to comply with the legal requirements of the GDPR. In addition, Jordan will address how to transfer data internationally, as well as how to complete the required documentation needed to demonstrate GDPR compliance.

On Day Two, Jordan will present her third course of the series which will dive into technological requirements that can be used to create an integrated approach to privacy and security. Jordan will also touch on tools and documentation that can be used to comply with the GDPR, such as data encryption, security and access controls, and data redundancy.
